Thanked: 12The Vintage Shaving Company shave cream
Just picked up a tub of shaving cream from the Vintage Shaving Company (England). I have read almost nothing about this fantastic product. They have a website that describes their products but I think this is one that deserves a try. It comes in two scents, Trad and Mod. Mine is the Trad scent and I really like it. It comes in a tin like Pre de Provence soap. I would describe the scent as a clean, light citrus. The citrus scent is not overpowering. Just a small amount gives loads of thick, rich cream. The lather provided great glide and cushion. I am not sure about moisturizing properties since I have very dry skin anyway, but it seems to be okay. This is one I will reorder, for sure. I think you will like it!

Thanked: 12A relative of mine picked this up at Harrod's on a recent trip to London. Anyway, I got the Trad scent shaving cream and the Mod scent in the after shave balm. The balm has the consistency of yogurt but it does feel really good on my face, but I much prefer the Trad scent. Citrus is the first smell I pick up. But it has sort of a clean smell too. The citrus is not too powerful. The website gives descriptions of their products, I guess I am not too good at describing scents. I cant describe the Mod scent to save my life, not bad, but i do prefer the Trad. I also have tried T&H creams for the first time, and I think the Vintage products lathered about the same. Didn't require much cream and I have hard water. The lather was thick and smelled great. As I said maybe I am not great at reviews but I do like their products.

Thanks for letting us know. I think you provided a pretty good description of the scent and how the product works for you. I'll have to try it sometime.
