    Thumbs up Williams re-visited.

Decided to give one of my pucks of Williams another try. It wasn't too bad. My lathering technique is much better than it used to be!! Nothing like my Taylor of old Bond Street, but really it could be used fine by someone on a budget! Under 2 bucks...

Used right, Williams can provide lots and lots of nice and slick lather. It needs a different approach than many other soaps though, add LOTS of water and keep swirling to get the air out and eventually you'll have this:

I too use Williams as my primary soap. It lathers great.: The price makes it hard to beat. Same my special scent soaps for the weekend. Try it.

I also found MWF a bit tricky at first, but after persisting at it for a few months I have dialed in the lathering technique and love this soap! Like Blix said, it requires a different approach than other soaps.

    Cheers,

I use it in my rotation and I like it ok. The price is certainly right.

Williams is great IF you know it's secret: use more water than you think you need, and whip the lather longer than normal. If you do, you will get great results.

I love how on this forum people don't get blasted for praising Williams...You wouldn't have wanted to post this on B&B lol. I have loved williams ever since I tried it for the first time. It will always have a spot in my den.

I have been using Williams for years, never had any problems with it.

You get both a like and a thanks from a dual SRP/B&B member for saying that! That subject has been run into the ground over there.
