They make entertaining targets for a .22 - just make sure you're far enough away. I've plinked a couple of old spray paint cans - FWOOOSH!

I only shave after a shower so I use my leftover canned goo as beard pre soak. The acids in the canned goo are supposed to damage the hard outer coating of the hair so it can absorb moisture better and shave off easier. Every little bit helps in my prep.
