Thanked: 0New goodies arrived today!
Got some goodies from the Italian Barber today.. and I'm pretty excited to try them all. I think I got a good assortment.. My method was as follows; buy the best/most well reviewed products that are sub $15.
So.
1. Cella - This stuff smells great. I'm going to use it tonight.. the almond is heavenly.
2. Razorock XXX - Some great reviews on this stuff.. seems to have a nice citrusy scent.
3. MWF Soap - Don't need to say anything about this. Seems to have the weakest scent of the bunch.
4. Tabac Original - Smells a bit like a pre-lit cigarette.. which IMO is a great smell. Looking forward to it.
5. Alum/Styptic pencil - Been only using witch hazel and AS.. this should be a nice addition to the routine..
6. Razorock Ginseng Bar Soap - Yes.. off-topic.. but I thought I'd throw this in as I'm excited to give it a try.
Cheers guys,
- Andrew

Thanked: 0Straight shaving provides an interesting dilemma. So many things to try.. so much practising to get in.. yet.. I have to wait AT the very least 24 hours between each experience. A true test of patience!
Anyway.. I tried the Cella tonight.. my lather skills are far from perfect.. but it was a good shave and the aroma was darn good. No cuts yet either!
