Thanked: 2Neutrogena Shave Cream
Being new to straight razor shaving I have been buying lots of different products recently just to play around and find out what works best for me. While at Walmart list night I saw that they had a tube of Neutrogena shaving cream, it was only $4 so I figured I would try it out.
So after getting home I took a shower and began all of my prep work. I mixed in some cream with the soap I was currently using and began to experiment. After a couple of minutes of trying to work up a lather I noticed that NOTHING was happening. It appeared as if all the cream and soap had just vanished. I tried to ring some of it out of my brush but all I got was a milk like substance. At this point I am EXTREMELY confused because I have never had any problem getting a lather going. I was getting frustrated and decided I should just set it all down and come back in a couple of minutes. The second time around I got the exact same results. I was totally lost and figured I was doing something wrong. I flipped over the tube and read the back and this was the first thing I saw.
As soon as I saw that I couldn't help but laugh at myself a little bit.
Just thought I would share this little experience with everyone!

You are very right in the no foam part. It is super slick when put on a wet face. I use it with a DE when I travel and sometimes at home when in a hurry. Definitely not for making lather but does shave well for what it is.

Your right... Nothing happens! Not sure if something was meant to happen; but it doesn't.
It now lives in the bottom of a box somewhere.
