    Default Nivea Cream

Well I saw this Nivea Cream online and saw that it was not an American product so I figured I would try it out. I will have to saw I read lots of good things about them in their reviews... however, I saw not impressed at all. It has a very weird smell and is VERY sticky! If you use just the cream without a soap mix it is like trying to shave with glue. The other problem I REALLY hated was it left this sticky white film all over my shave bowl and razor. I figured it would just come off with water, but no. It had to be scrubbed off with a rag.

I use the Nivea pre wash, cream, aftershave balm and lotion normally but after getting my proraso stuff in the mail you can really tell the difference.

Just thought I would share my thoughts for future buyers.

You figured you would try it because it was NOT an American product? Why is that?

The Nivea products that make in/for the US are in pressurized cans. They do not offer then cream in a tube as a US product, you can only buy the German one.

Use the Nivea Cream after using the Nivea Aftershave Balm for sensitive skin and it will keep your skin moist. It is not for shaving.

I don't like the creme. I used it twice, too thick, hard to wash off.
I threw the contents away & use the jar to store wheat-back pennies in.
Yeah, Yeah,,,I know, some of us never grow up.

It's not the cream that you use for dry skin it is a actual Shave Cream that comes in a tube.

Well the crime I've used had been great to heal cuts and scraps fast! But it is extremely thick and does feel sticky.. I usually only touch it and then rub it into my hands with water then apply to face... Works great to soothe and heal a bad shave. And protect in winter too. Ymmv
