Soaps available today
Howdy all, long time now see
It's been a crazy year for me, getting a new job, getting extremely sick on the second day taking a week off, get better and 6 monthst later get acute viral bronchitus (sp) that took me out for 3 weeks... Ya work loves me about now
Anyway I've been trying to get my work to carry some shave soaps and for the life of me I could not remember any names that are still active out there. Colleen was my main supplier and I have to wait till she's done with her school before she thinks about getting things going again
Soaps I'm looking for are clean, as in organic if posable or sustainable harvest types. I work at a major healthfood chain and they are rather picky about what get put on the shelf. There has to be something out there. We have some of the shave creams but I didn't recognize any of them except for Bert's Bees products and I have heard none to good a reviews on theie shave products.
I'm also planning on getting a handful of the more popular types of soaps available that are easy to get ahold of, if I could only remember what they where lol I still have a couple years worth of Colleens soaps and have not had to go looking for any Doing a video on the different soaps is also in the works but I need a good veriety to try out. I keep getting asked to do vids on my equipment lol So I may as well start somewhere.
Any help on finding these common styles and makers would be a great help. As well as a few of the handmade makers producing at the moment

Sorry to hear about the illness... must ber all the healthy stuff you are surrounded by
like you i have a couple of years of Colleen's soaps both shaving and bath tucked away, it will last even longer since i have been mixing a lot of tabac and floris in the herd.
the only producer that i recall is mamabear ... might even have organic stuff.. but you by now you know 'organic' is a scam here in the USA.
enjoy sir!

Yes you really have research anything claiming to be Organic these days thanks to the governments butchering of how companies can use the word.
I've only had one soap from Mamabear and it was only so-so, I really need to get more to give it a fair shake.
Work has one soap that seems interesting, Ancient Clay, that I can't figure out if it would shave well or not. It has some clay in it but it's not listed as a shave soap, it's in the bath soap area. I'll be giving it a shot here pretty soon just to see what happens. MWF or any other wool fat soaps are on my list to try as well, I really like MWF as long as I'm using my pure badger brush, it doesn't seem to like the silver tip brushes at all...

I just tried Mike's Natural soaps, they seem to be made with all 100% natural ingredients and from the read, sustainable harvest. But besides been all natural they are very good. I think they are up there with MWF and Tabac. Very good stuff! Double O

Just ordered a bar and a tin from Mike's, see how they work.
Just did an inventory of all my soaps... seems I was lower then I though. All the tubs I though where full are almost empty and the back ups are gone ACK!!!

Problem with Mama Bear soaps is they're all melt and pour soaps. I prefer CP/HP soaps.
Have you looked on Etsy.com? There's quite a few people making shaving soaps on there.

I just saw some people raving about a couple of scents, so I thought I'd see if I agreed.
I'm still very curious about Tabac. Target claimed to have it in their stores, but when I checked yesterday, mine didn't.
I also checked out a bunch of different colognes at Macy's yesterday. What a letdown. It was the land of the clones. Everything smelled alike. It was like the Twilight Zone. The bottles and names were different, but the scents were amazingly close and too perfumey. Strictly for girly-men. Like Aramis.
