Spencer & Devon Compromised? Nah.
A tub of Spencer & Devon Sagebrush arrived in yesterday's mail. It was close to 100 degrees here, so apparently the cream melted while in our mailbox. When I brough it in, I opened the container for a quick sniff and whoah! About 3/4 of the liquified product sloshed out and onto the carpet and my feet. After cleaning up (and smelling like our Sierra Nevadas), I put what was of the tub in my cupboard. It hardened overnight, so I gave it a go early this morning. Hmmm, great stuff, and I love the scent when lathered up. Not sure if any key ingredients were lost, but it performed well. So much that after more than two weeks of daily close shaving with straights, and getting BBS yesterday, and with about 18 hours from yesterday's shave, I got another smooth and soothing BBS shave. Incredible, and I believe this cream had something to do with it. Here I am six hours later, and my chin and face still feels sticky smooth.
If you give this cream a try and you think it's lacking, try heating it up, slosh out about 3/4 of the stuff, then give it a go after it firms up. Ha! Joking aside, I'm happy with this cream, and sad that I lost so much of it before I even got a chance to try it. Lesson learned.

Thanked: 14I tried my first save today with the Spencer and Devon shave cream - unscented. It is wonderfully rich - lathers like a rich whipped cream that has an very high butter content, very thick. You can smell the Shea butter in it and the lubrication is the best I have experienced from any cream I have tried. My 4 day growth looked like tree tops in a blizzard of snow. They feel to their roots as my straight clear cut the forest. Definitely a keeper and it is in my rotation.
