Default Musgo Real...Am I doing it wrong?

The first cream I acquired was Musgo Real in the tube. All the threads I've checked talk about how it makes great lather, but I've had lackluster results.

I usually start with a dab about the size of a large pea or lima bean and swirl with a damp (but not soaked) badger brush. Takes a lot of effort to get it lathered, but it doesn't seem to grow volume like other soaps when you work them. I try dipping the brush tips and adding water, but I've discovered that there's a fine line in what it will tolerate. Hydrate it too much, it quickly dilutes and dies.

Perhaps I'm just being too stingy with the amount I'm using? Interested in some instruction from you gents.

    Cheers!

I would add more product. It sounds like you weren't using enough; a pea sized amount will make mounds of lather when using Castle Forbes, but softer creams will require more.
