I really like the white bowl, it has a definate tea smell to it and lathers as well as the menthol version. It is my go to Proraso soap for the winter, the same great Proraso lather as the green, but without the menthol kick.

Thanked: 1195It's very serviceable, like all Proraso products, but to me Proraso isn't Proraso without the menthol kick

Thanked: 109It is failsafe lather. Good cushion and glide and works for my easily irritated skin. I have found I like MWF more as it has better cushion and leaves your face moisturized.

As with everything from this brand, I have avoided it due to the phenomenal amount of menthol they put in their products. As someone with very sensitive skin, this is like giving me white spirit to paint on my face. The pre-post cream version of the ultra-sensitive range burnt my face out and gave a nasty rash, blemishes (spots) and eventually had large parts of the skin peeling off. Ouch! Avoid at all costs.

the old formula pre/post and aftershave balm were both mentholated ( the preshave pretty heavily, the as very lightly), but I think that the new pre and AS balm aren't, anymore(I can't swear to that yet, however) , and I have never tried the old white tub, but the new tub isn't mentholated(that I am aware of), and is possibly the most protective shaving product I have ever used. The new red cream is also superb, and menthol free, btw ( although it has sandalwood oil, which also gives a light "cooling sensation"), so that may be an issue.

Thanked: 3I really love the Proraso Green Tea and Oat (white tub, new formula). It is such a soothing, yet refreshing scent to me. And there is a very slight menthol cooling effect which is much milder than regular green tub Proraso. The lather matches other Proraso products so it is a great performer too. This soap is in my top 3 right now along side Cella and RR Zi' Peppino. (I guess I'm a big fan of Italian soaps)

I picked this soap up today -- really looking forward to giving it a try.
