    Default SRD Soaps

I am a noob, and if this question should be in the noob section then by all means fell free to move it. Thanks, Mods.

I was looking into getting the SRD shaving kit with straight razor. It comes with the SRD 100% essential oils soap of your choice. I was curious to know how many have tried these soaps, what you liked and disliked about them, and what scents if any you liked best?

I do know that one of the proprietors of SRD is also the creator of this board, but I would hope this wouldn't sway any opinions about the soaps since I am sure SRD would greatly appreciate any and all comments regarding their products. I am really just hoping for an honest opinion of their soaps because I am interested in the package deal they have on a shaving kit.

Also, would it be better to get everything separately or start off with the kit? I looked at both and it seems that it would just be cheaper to get the kit.

    Thanks in advance.

The kit is less expensive than the sum of its parts, so the kit would be the way to go.

As for the SRD soaps, they are top notch. Great scents, glide, cushion, etc...all things you'd expect from a premium soap.

+1 on the SRD soaps. They're all good from a function standpoint, but my favorites are Lime and Blood Orange.

+1 to the SRD soaps, I have the lime and blood orange and they are both regulars in my rotation. Good smell and fairly easy to lather.

The kits SRD offers are always good deals. I can't comment on their soap as I don't use soaps.

I was handed my first Blood orange by Lynn at Bob Allman's meet. Wait, take that back! I was handed the vanilla and proceeded to trade it immediately to another fellow for the blood orange. The lime is also great.
Been a fan of it ever since! Long lasting and invigorating scent! Great value as well.

I've only tried the SRD Bulgarian Rose Otto, and it performs up there with the best of'em.
