Just tried a tub of Third Eye sandalwood. I used an Omega boar brush and face lathered. I would say that it was one of the top 5 shaves in my straight razor career. Lather was abundant, shave was very comfortable and super slick. Post shave skin quality was exceptional.

Following the shave I got online and bought the Napoleon’s Violet and the Mughetto di Bologna. Can't wait till they get here. These are really great soaps at a really great price.

I have a question about RazoRock Third Eye. I recently bought it in Chicago, and while it seems to make a ton of great lather, what happens to me every time I've used it is that before I am done with even half of my face, the lather looks to be drying. It has the consistency of like plaster. I have to keep re-wetting my face, or reapplying lather. Anyone else?

I picked up a tub of Zi' Peppino. I am thoroughly impressed. These soaps break from the mold of "you get what you pay for." I am sure a lot of people think of a cigarette when they hear the word tobacco, and that would be the last thing you would want to smell in your shaving soap. Well this stuff does not smell bad at all, it is green tobacco and it smells very "manly". I will be ordering the aftershave balm in this flavor, they just need to make a cologne..

I urge some of you who like these soaps to try this one as it seems to be less popular...

My understanding is that they had a batch of AdP at wholesale pricing...couldn't get any more, so no more XXX.
