Thread: Which Rose cream?

Hi. I'm about to buy some more Rose shaving cream and I'd like an opinion from any of you more experienced people as to which one. There's T&H, Trumpers, DR Harris, Cyril R Salter and TOBS. Any hints? Some other one?

I'm personally a big fan of the T&H Rose cream. Whips up easily and the scent is outstanding.

I use Trumpers I like the scent but be advised the amount of dyes they put in the rose and violet creams stain the heck out of brushes I use my cheap Vilfix when I use them both.

Of those you listed, for me, TOBS Rose had the nicest aroma, and shaved the best

I'm going to say Trumpers too. It was my first proper cream and did wonders for my face... I had very bad acne and quite a bit of sensitivity at a time. It sorted that out through frequent use. I have the soap now and use it rarely, but I think it's a superb first cream.

I've used GFT rose my whole life and won't use anything else. Rose scented that is. I have both cream and soap and just love the performance especially the cream.

I really like the Cyril R Salter rose cream. I reckon it's a little more subtle than the other, more natural.

OK fellas, thanks. I just ordered Trumpers. I'm still waiting for the SRD Rose Otto to happen so I can get that one too. Damn SAD!
