Default A great solution for Arko shaving soap

Hi guys, I found a great solution for that troublesome paper wrapped Arko Shaving Soap (which is my personal favorite). I bought it in westcoastshaving.com for under 2 dollars, great deal for all you Arko entusiasts.

I was going to wait for my DR Harris stick to run out and recycle the container, but I just might have to purchase a couple of these.

I just re-cycle Deodorant containers (free) Grate the stuff up and stuff it in,add a little water as you fill it and it turns into a solid stick.

Do you do that for travel reasons or do you prefer to apply it that way?

I have never tried it that way before. What's the 411?

411???????? Face lather so thats how I use it,also buy my cella and P160 in Kilo blocks, thats soft enough to just pack in.
The hard sticks such as palmolive or tabac you can grate or put in the microwave for about 10 secs till they get soft.
    Works for me.

You know, the only time I would not use a shave stick repackaged this way is went traveling by air. I have a feeling that some snarky security agent might get a little snarly over items not in their original packaging. I just drop my Arko into a prescription pill container from the drug store to keep the mess down in my shave kit.
