I have only tried 15 or 20 different soaps, and not all by thorough testing either. Nevertheless, here are the soaps that have provided my top 5 shaving-soap shaves
MWF
MWF
Tabac
Colleen's Black Cavendish
MWF
I would have to go with:
- Mitchell's Wool Fat
- P.160 Tipo Morbido
- Palmolive Shaving Stick
- De Vergulde Hand
I think those are pretty much all I have (except for a Mama Bear's, which I'm not that fond of). I'm managing pretty wel, although at some point (in the distant future) Martin de Candre (see what the fuss is about) and some English classics, D.R. Harris seems to tempt me the most. Or maybe a Trumpers.
I have more creams than soaps but of those I would have to say that I am sold on my latest aquisition. Tabac
1. AOS sandalwood
2. Trumpers limes
3. Tobs avocado
4. Proraso green
4. Musgo real
Arko
La Toja Stick
Razorock Caprician Lemon
SRD Sandalwood
Razorock King Louis Lavender
MdC unscented
AoS Sandalwood
D.R. Harris
Haslinger
Calani
1. Martin de Candre - made with loving care on the grounds where Richard the Lionheart is buried
2. D.R. Harris - English quality at it's finest.
3. Mitchell's Wool Fat - aka The Fat
4. P.160 Tipo Morbido - Made with loving care by an artisan in Italy, when he retired, that was it.
5. Cella
I've tried samples of other shaving creams and soaps as well as had a puck of vulfix soap, but the only one I kept is MWF.
