Thread: Joris shaving soap

Gentlemen:

I have used Joris shaving soap for a number of years, but I have not commented on it. It's oversight more than anything else, I think. Nor have I read much about this soap. Joris is exquisite in every respect, from its moist and luxurious lather to its smooth glide and exceptionally comfortable cushion. I love the soapy clean and subtle fragrance of it, too. It had been a while since I had used it. I used it yesterday, wondering why on earth I had neglected it in my stash. If I were to name my top five soaps at this moment — there are several threads on this topic — they would have to be thus in order of preference: Martin de Candre, Joris, Mitchell's Wool Fat, D.R. Harris and Savon du Midi. Joris is luxury delicious. Anyone try this delightful shaving soap?
