Ya I understand that bit, thats what makes me wonder why the name was used for such a manly pursuit like real shaving. If a new axe was designed and marketed as 'The Shirt lifter' it would strike me as similarly peculiar for a brand name. Now I'm no homophobe but I wouldn't like the idea of mincing about in the woods with a shirt lifter!

I've just ordered a large batch of samples! Some new fragrances that I have not tried yet.

Rise! Rise from the depth of the Interwebz Dead Thread - I command thee!!!

Just tried a sample that was sent to me of Nanny's Neroli Traditional Shaving Soap...wow...very impressive, obviously a very high quality soap, and they have a superb selection. Incredible explosion of lather and scent, the Neroli was spectacular, and think I can squeeze two more shaves or so from the sample.

So, Nanny's Shaving soaps will be the next victim of my SAD....bwahahahaha!

NSS is terrific, especially her new tallow formula (traditional range). I like nearly all of her scents, especially Arabian Nights, Moroccan Sands, and Neroli. Her vegan Signature soaps perform extremely well also. I agree, it's a spectacular soap.

I went and looked and saw you can add your e-mail for scents that are out of stock. At first I had a hard time with the name game. I usually skip vendors that use names that don't describe the scent in the names. I see good descriptions though when you select a name. I almost passed on the " Down Home Summer" having lived near a dairy farm :<0)

That's hilarious...I've passed on many soap companies for that exact reason - see a name like that and I'm out.

Received a sample of the Neroli, and it was a fantastic soap, very complex aroma to it, some deep earthy like smell, and then out of nowhere, this light citrus flavor hit the nose...have enough for a couple more shaves. Lathers easily, feels great on the face...really beautiful soap.

And another reminder, when you get samples, try them...don't let them accumulate in your razor box.....

I just paid $13 shipping to the U.S. for two soaps. Very lovely soaps.
