Default Mama Bear Soap and Aftershave Combos

I have a question for users of Mama Bear soap and after shave. Do you prefer to use unscented aftershave so you you can use different scented shave soaps? Do you stack the same scent with your soap and aftershave? Do you use a different scented soap than aftershave? Just trying to get some input without buying a ton of different products. Also do you like the ye olde Barbershoppe or sandalwood scent more? Any input is much appreciated.

I usually get my Mama Bear's aftershave scented to go exactly with my soap but to be honest their aftershave smells so good on its own you really don't need to do that. Their unscented aftershave stacks with just about anything too. Its hard to describe but I mostly notice the menthol, peppermint, and sandal wood scents of their unscented aftershave.

I've stacked different scents too though. I got a tub of their gingerbread soap for Christmas and it stacks nicely with vanilla cream scented aftershave. I can't recommend their Frankincense and Myrrh strongly enough; it is just wonderful and the scent really sticks with you for a long time.

I'm sort of on the fence about the Ye Olde Barbershoppe scent. In some ways I like it but in other ways I don't. It would be a good compliment to a bay rum mix but I think its not so great on its own. Of course that's just my preference. I haven't tried their sandalwood scent yet so I can't comment on that.

Don't forget to try their bath soaps too; you need to dry them after each shower to prevent them from fading away quickly but the scents are lovely. If you're really into a certain scent you can bathe with the scent too and layer it with your shave.

I like to mix and match as well. I just find it part of the fun and this allows me to suggest gifts to my family as they aren't very expensive.
