Thanked: 0After Shave cream/lotion what's the deal?
Hey guys Mike again,
Let me first start with a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone . So here's the deal, any after shave or after shave balm or lotion I have every used generally cause my face to sweat more when I go outside. Anyone else experience this problem. I'm thinking of getting the Truefitt and Hill after shave lotion anyone have comments on this and/or my issue with sweat? Also can someone please tell me give me a good explanation as to why Aftershave or aftershave balm or lotion is so good for you after a shave? Thanks guys can't wait to open my presents tomorrow getting some razors for sure. YAAAAAAAAAA

Depending on the contents, it may help close the pores, act as an antiseptic, moisturize or dry out your skin. I would suggest applying your products with damp hands. It should help "thin" it out a bit. What products are you using?

Hey Mike,
I would stay away from the Truefitt and Hill AS Balms as they tend to leave the face a little greasy. I would agree with RT on this one that it clogs the pores. I found this thread at another website, it may be helpful as it gives a few more opinions on T&H AS Balm.
If you're really looking for a good aftershave lotion, I'd recommend Saxon woodspice. It's not easy to find, but it dries to a nice powdery finish that doesn't clog pores.
Good Luck,
Fred

Try using an alcohol-based aftershave. Definitely no oily residue from one of those babies lol.
