Default Another Thumbs Up For Mama Bear.

I use Mama Bear for my alum bars & sometimes a soap or two.
They are always a pleasure to deal with & I like the fact that they carry the Shavex brand alum bar.
My Shavex alum bar is still in use , with a few more months left on it.
I just received a new one & will try this soap.

    Thanks for looking.

Sue's soaps have a following, there's no denying that. I've been meaning to try MB for quite some time, but there's so much variety I wouldn't know where to start hehe

They have these little wedge shaped samples of their soaps.
I got one free with an order once. I used a single blade razor to slice off thin strips and put them into my bowl with really hot water. They melted in the water for the most part & lathered great. I got about six shaves out of that sample.

Alot will disagree with me but I cannot stand mama bear soaps. Ive never had good lather from any and was always left with a bad shave. everyone else seems to have such good luck with her soaps.

I used the honeysuckle last night, put the whole puck in the bowl, a little hot water, worked the lather right off the puck.
Tomorrow, I'm going to find it's own bowl with a lid.
    Great lather, great smell.

I wonder if it doesn't agree with your water.

I have a couple of her soaps and they have worked really well for me.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Mama Bear's soaps. The frankincense and myrrh is just wonderful btw. I was also lucky enough to get some of Mama Bear's aftershave scented in frankincense and myrrh. Easily my favorite scent.

+1 (or is it +2 --- 1 for soap and 1 for aftershave).
