Thanked: 3Olivias Crema-First Impressions.
So I ordered some of Olivias Crema after watching a YouTube video in which a guy said her creams were great. Finally came in the mail today. I've done some researching online to see what the general consensus on her products is. Although, the lather created is thin its said its still a pretty good product. Well, after reading all this I decided to try to whip up some lather for myself and was sadly disappointed as I couldn't get any major lather by face lathering, bowl lathering or even lathering in my palm. I did get the best results by palm lathering but I still couldn't whip out all the air bubbles. Is it my inability to lather properly or are the rest of you out there getting sub-par lather when using Olivias?

Here's my thread on her cream. Personally, I think this product needs more water than usual. How long did you load your brush for?

Thanked: 3I loaded my brush for a good while. I just found it hard to load decently because my crema has an almost cake frosting like consistency.

Which scent did you get? I have ten of her scents, and some of them are harder and thicker than others. Have you tried more water?

Thanked: 3Shw made me up some Bulgarian Rose EO at my request. I did exactly, as close as I could, with MWF and got a fine result. I've test lathered it several times and I always get to where fine bubbles remain but nothing like what you got from the pictures you posted.

It took me at least three or four tries to get that. I was originally getting what you describe, I just kept dipping my brush and it would get better each time I added water. Keep at it, it's a tricky cream/soap, but it's worth the hassle in the end.

Thanked: 3I can send you my tub and see if you get any good results with it. I can't for the life of me, even using your method, get any real result worthy enough to risk a shave with.
