Default Almost gave up on soaps until...

I tried MWF! I have been wet shaving (started both str8 & DE at the same time) for about 4-5 months now. Tried a bunch of different soaps and creams and was almost sure that I liked creams a lot more. Then my order of MWF came in the mail today and WOW! This stuff is everything everyone says it is and more. Great lather (face lather with warm soft water), cushion, and very moisturizing. I wish they would make different scents though (i like variety). So I guess anyone new to wet shaving like myself I just need to say that you need to get a puck ASAP.

i do have one question for the MWF veterans out there.. I did not splurge on the one that comes with the covered bowl. The puck will not fit in the few covered bowls I have and I was wondering if leaving it in a bowl with no cover will dry it out or cause a decrease in performance over time?

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

If you are looking for a covered bowl for you MWF that won't break the bank, try a Pyrex 1 cup container with lid.

Or you can use cling wrap
on the bowl that you are
    using.

    I have my MWF in a Taylor's
    tub. It fits perfectly.

Can you melt MWF down so it fits in a covered sugar bowl? I've thought about doing that with some other soaps too.

Not sure about melting but an easy way is just to use a cheese grater and mash it into the bowl.

From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

The MWF tends to crack up if left exposed for a period. You can get a cheese grater to break it down to fit your bowls.
