    Default Tabac shaving cream?

    Hello everyone,

I've just ordered some tabac shaving cream, I'm wondering about everyone's experience with it?

I also got it fairly cheap, it's from a website with a promotion. Would I be breaking any forum rules by posting the site & code, mods? I'd like to share it, but if it's not acceptable practice, I'll refrain.

I have this cream but I have used it only once and from what I remember it's performance was really good. Althought you might want use it with an inexpensive brush because it contains Dimethicone and from what I have heard if you use products with this ingredient for a long period of time they might "destroy" your brush, that is what I have heard but I might also be wrong.

I have it, I like it but it's not my favorite.

I still use it almost exclusively when I travel just because it has a great shave stick version.

I find it a bit of a dry soap if that makes sense. I thought it was just me, but now I've heard the same thing from a few people.

    Have fun,

Big fan here-love the intense scent and lubrication/glide/skin protection. Tabac often yields my smoothest shaves!

Tabac is a great cream, but I tend to get better performance from the soap, whatever works!!!

Yeah, I plan to give a review after it arrives & I've had a few shaves with it.

I have the soap & Jar. I think it's a great performing soap. Definitely a winter soap in my book.

I think the original poster was referring to Tabac shave cream rather than the soap?

It's a good performer, glide and protection are more than adequate, the lather doesn't dry out and the moisturising is okay.

I just don't like the Tabac smell, it's very strongly scented for a shaving cream.
