Thread: bigelow shaving cream

i have been shaving lately with bigelow shaving cream. Im also using a prosaro pre shave. I notice that the shaving cream is drying out on certain parts of my face before my shave is finished. Im lathering in a bowl. Is it possible im not using enough water. I followed directions on the srp sticky on bowl lathering with a tablespoon of water. The cream produces a good lather but just seems to dry out. Anybody elsE having issues.Im getting a good shave but only after i lather again during my first pass??

1 tablespoon of water is just a guideline, it's not a set in stone amount. What I did when I first started, was to add more water to the left over lather in my bowl and see just how much farther I could take it untill it was too wet.
I was often surprised at how much more water some products could take then what I'd been using.
