Default Taylor Shaving Stick stuck in tube

I've used this great smelling shaving stick, Taylor of Old Bond Street, 2-3 times. It worked great, and as I mentioned, it smells terrific (sandalwood scent). All was well until I tried to use it again a few days ago. I found that the stick is stuck! It no longer retracts or advances when I twist the screw mechanism on the bottom of the tube. Bummer! I figured this has probably happened to someone else, so why not hit the forum and see if somebody would be able to help me out. Anybody know how to get this thing going again? If it's permanently stuck, any ideas on how to get the rest of it out - to salvage the remaining soap? From what I read on the ingredients label, it seems to be glycerin based; so should I just put it in the microwave for a few seconds and melt it out? If anybody has an idea, I would very much appreciate it if they would share it with me.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Take care,

    Kenny

Never used a soap stick yet, but i would assume if it is permanently stuck just breaking the plastic shell and putting the stick in a bowl or something would work. Again I'm just guessing here. Either way hope you can still enjoy the soap

Just try some method of gently warming the container to see if that will break the stick free.
