    Default Shaving sticks

Hello ladies (and any gents reading),

I have been thinking about getting my fiancé some shaving sticks so she can partake in the fun of nice soaps and soft brushes. I usually have to lather it up for her, so if I'm not available, she has to use crap in a can. I've tried to teach her how, but it hasn't seem to stick. Maybe it will eventually. Maybe eventually get her to shave her legs with my straight, or at least let me do it.

Anyway, on to my question. Are there any women out there who use shave sticks? How long do they last? I think that they would get used up too fast rubbing them over an area as large a woman's legs. With a soap puck, it's relatively easy to get how much you need and not waste much. It seems like a shave stick would be easy to waste some. What I mean is, will 2.5 oz. of a shaving stick get used up faster than a 2.5 oz. soap puck?

    Thanks in advance.

Do not worry about how fast it will get used up.
Enjoy the pleasure of using the stick.

Don't know if you have ever used a shave stick but they last a very long time in general.

+1 shavesticks last a LONG time and for the money are a great bargain. I've never shaved my legs with one but they seem to last 4-5 months for face shaving. You actually end up using less soap than you would off of a standard puck. I have a Tabac shave stick that is not only great stuff but the stick is huge. I also use Arko and Speick that come in smaller (less fancy sticks) but are still quite good and last a long time.

Palmolive shaving sticks are excellent for shaving and also treating strops. They are tallow based

I use honeybees shave sticks and I love them! I have not gotten through a bar yet but I do not see how it would last any less than a shave puck, they aren't that expensive either.. so much cheaper than canned goo! But just fyi, us ladies will use the shave soap or cream faster than a man cause we have a larger area to lather. This is just a fact of life. So I wouldnt worry about how fast it will be used up (it will take months anyway!) and just enjoy using a shave stick! I recommend it to all women who wet shave. It is fantastic and so easy to use!

    Kcbeemo,

Thanks for the useful insight. Seeing as how you use honeybees, what scent would you recommend for m'lady? Do you have any favorites? Are there any other ladies that use honeybees who could recommend certain scents?
