    Can Tabac be melted into a bowl, or does it not respond well to being melted?

    You're better off grating it and pressing the shavings into a bowl. Tabac and MWF are tallow based and don't respond well to the melt & pour method, which is meant for glyceryn based soaps

    used the AS even when I used Mach xx and canned goo. tabac was one of the first soaps I bought and for sure is one I will keep stocked. (same for the as)

    Thanks, grating worked great. Wished I had did that with my MWF, live and learn I reckon.
