    Default WM Neumann

Tried a new glycerine based soap this afternoon - WM Neumann 1911. Lathers nicely with a generous splash of water and provides a nice slick lather as well. My face feels great after and it has a very pleasant scent. They have a nice lineup of scents, aftershaves and balms. And nice people to do business with to boot. Give one a try.

Just ordered the sample aftershave pack; I will post some reviews about them as soon as I can use them all.

The aftershave is very mild. Its not that sharp/bracing sensation you get from a good bay rum. This one is very tame. I used the entire line up (soap, A.S., balm) for my shave on Friday and couldn't argue with the results. But I did miss that ZING from my normal bay rum.

Yeah, I havent used the bay rum yet, but it smells like your everday bay rum: bay, clove, cinnamon, a few citrusy notes...atleast they went easy on the clove so it doesnt knock your sinuses into next week.

I should have been more specific. I didn't use the bay rum but the 1911. That one has a more mild sensation when you slap it on. But I did use the peppermint and clove today and that one will wake you up. I liked that one quite a bit.

Ahh gotcha, haven't used it yet. I just tried the 1907 today; mild, fresh, I like it so far. It's kinda modern, but with a nostalgic feel to it.
