Thanked: 2Prorasso....
Hello All,
Do you guys think that Prorasso cream's lather dries up too quickly on the skin. I am just 3 months into SR shaving. I am bit slow. But my speed is going up slowly. But by the time i am done with the cheeks, and its time to shave the chin/neck, the lather just dries up. Does this happen to you guys.

Thanked: 3227Yes my lather dries up at times too and it is not just with Proraso. Part of the reason is that I am still a slow shaver and the other part is that I sometimes do not get enough water in the mix. You could try a touch more water when making lather and see what happens.

Thanked: 2Yeah. That is what i do. I thought i was the only one. Maybe it is my soap water combination issue. Now that you say its for all creams. I guess i have to live with it.

Thanked: 3This will get better as you get faster, and adding a few more drops of water will likely help as well. I just got it mostly figured out after 6 months so dont be discouraged! Depending on your brush some will also hold more water than others, my problem fixed itself with the addition of a extra hair badger knot from the golden nib.

My experience with proraso is that the soap dries up the fastest. The cream, especially Proraso red doesn't dry up too fast and will fair well until the end of the shave.
Creams in general in my view will dry less fast than soaps.

Thanked: 2Woah... if the red doesn't dry up that fast, i wonder what the others are like. They may dry up even before i finish one cheek!
