I was just on Mama Bears site (buy soaps of course) and she sells the tubs she uses for like 1.80 each.

I keep them in the original packaging until I need to use them and then I have a variety of covered soap dishes I keep them in.

I have collected several shaving soap refills and pondered for some time about suitable storage bowls. Nice wooden or stainless steel bowls can be expensive.
I happened to be at the local supermarket here in Australia "Woolworths" and spotted these neat screw top one cup "Essentials" brand storage containers. Next day I took in a puck of Geo. F. Trumper's Coconut Oil and it fitted perfectly with less than 1 mm gap. I bought some and then cut out the box label and affixed it to the top of the lid with craft glue. I now have about 20 different soaps and creams stacked up in towers. I bought 10 more last week discounted to 99c each!

    Not bad for $1.99!

Hy shave soaps are in mugs, I store the mugs in my t-shirt drawer so the shirts end up smelling good.

Do you have to soften the soap to press them into a mug?
