Default Arko Cream in a tube

So I've never had any luck with the Arko tube cream (I have the cool scented one). It builds up a pretty decent lather, but I get the nastiest razor burn every time I use it, straight or DE. Is it just the cream or is there some sort of secret trick that I'm missing with it. I do like the smell, very clean scent. I have other creams/soaps but I would like to be able to use this from time to time without lighting my face on fire lol. Anybody else know what I'm talking about or have tried any of the Arko tube creams?

The razor burn has probably more to do with technique than the cream. I use Arko unscented occasionally and find it well worth the inexpensive price. Adjust your angle with the razor, reduce pressure and economize strokes. Those moves will do wonders to eliminate razor burn.

I use Arko Maximum Comfort cream on and of. Never had any problems with razor burns.
I think Obie is right when saying its a technique problem.

Hmmm, maybe. I never get that bad of razor burn with any of the other creams and soaps i have, but I mean my technique can always be better. Economizing the strokes is something I don't do enough of for sure. Trying to break that habit of too many passes over the same spot. Thank you
