    Default Top Glycerin Soaps

Looking for some glycerin shave soaps to try out. I've already been using the Conk and it lathers up nicely once you get it ratios dialed in but I'm looking to branch out. What are your guy's top glycerine soaps that you like?

I've only used two - WM Neumann and Mama Bear. Both produce a nice lather. I think i personal preference is for W. M. Neumann simply because I like the scents better and they offer an entire line up of shaving products (soap, aftershave, balm, etc).

I shall take a look at WM Neumann. Mama Bear is the one I see and hear about a lot and they seem to have some pretty odd/elaborate scents too. Thanks.

The Mama Bear soaps I've tried were good. But they kind of reminded me of walking into a Yankee Candle store. Where as the WM Neumann scents were more clean and/or cologne-like. There's another member who is writing up some reviews on the aftershaves right now. You can do a search and find it. He gives his descriptions of the scents.

They seem like they would have that kind of vibe to them. lol Oh really? I need to find that. I'm also looking for some good aftershave as well. I can only take so much of the Gillette gel that I have. To "salon product" smelling you know. Definitely need something that healthier and smells robust.

straightrazordesigns glycerin based soaps, just used a sandalwood sample today which i received a while back and i must say it blew every other soap i have in my rotation! the glide and cushion was unbelievable and lathered up easily! once the pocket is full i WILL be ordering more of that stuff! probably their vanilla bourbon or west indies bay...or opus x..or vetiver...

I've got the SRD Opus X and it performs like a champ! I'll likely pick up some other scents from them as well.

Also, doesn't take allot of trial and error to find the right ratio. Works well with my hard water.

That's actually good to hear because I have pretty hard water myself. It's never been a problem usually but I always hear that some soaps are sensitive to that.

    Kell's Original

I'm also a big fan of Van Der Hagen Deluxe, which is available at most grocery stores and pharmacies. It's a good glycerin and shea butter based soap and it costs less than $2.
The Kell's look really nice. Some hemp soaps I see. nice nice. I might have to order a puck thanks man.
