    Default The Real Shaving Co

Just picked up some new shaving cream and oil.
    Just thought I'd share!
Anyone used the "professional formula" before? They're on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart so I grabbed them to try. $5 each.

There's a tube of their cream sitting on my sink right now. I have other creams that smell nicer and cost more. But the Real Shaving Co stuff performs quite nicely. It's pretty slick and has a decent cushion.
The scent is the killer for me. It's a pretty neutral, clean scent with a hint of floral undertones to it. Not bad. Just doesn't knock my socks off so I tend to mix ina tiny bit if pretty much anything else.

I haven't seen the oil before. I'm interested in that, for sure.
Here in the States the Rite Aid drug chain carries them for $5-6.

Can't quite make out which of their shave creams that one is. They do a selection such as Cooling, Moisturising etc. They are all excellent performers though the scents are not the best.

As far as I know, they are the house brand of Creighton's, the company that makes the 3T's ranges for them here in the UK. Probably the same bases but with different scents. Very good value I've found.

Can't comment on the oil as I really don't like shaving oils!

+1 on everything said here, Gareth.
The products are actually quite widely available here in UK supermarkets...

It's the moisturizing cream that I choose. They also had sensitive that had slightly different ingredients
I agree, good cushion that's nice and slick-I used the oil as a pre-shave oil-but the scent is...meh.
Maybe it's because I prefer the smell of Proraso, idk.
Mixing it with something else is a good idea, I'll try that tomorrow!

Overall...not bad at all for $5. For that price, I'd recommend adding it to anyone's collection. Good performer with a so so scent.

I use the Real Shaving Company after shave balm, and it seems to work great.

+2 There is nothing wrong with the scent, it's just kind of .......uninspired. Quality wise, it's top drawer stuff though.

Going to reopen this necro thread as I just had a chance to use TRSC Original shave cream. Have to agree with the previous posts. Lathers up well with a brush for a nice slick thick lather. Yes, the scent is light floral rose. Very nice shave cream that does not seem to get much attention.
