Default Old Spice mug, puck and brush set

Lucked into a new never use Old Spice mug, soap puck and brush set today for $4.00 so needless to say brought it home. The brush was made in England but has no name looks like a Culmak boar brush. It is toast as the glue has dried out and it sheds hair like nobodies business. However the puck lathered up well on the hand with an Omega boar making a thick slick lather. There is still just a bit of the old spice smell left in it too. Looking forward to giving it a go tomorrow morning. Looks like it will beat Williams hands down anyway.

Great score! I have one and have yet to use it. I'm going to bust it out soon. Enjoy!

Well, I did used the Old Spice to shave with today and it did a fine job. The set was the Canadian version with SHULTON , Toronto Canada M1P 2M4 100g on the front of the mug and sold for $15.00 at one time from Sears Canada. If that helps anyone keeping track of such things or collecting them.

Well looks like mine is the 05 mug in the Canadian section. Having no French on the mug means it pre dates the Official Languages Act of 1969. That soap sure keeps well.

There are quite a few lying around antique malls, usually they are among groups of cups, mugs, steins; I've seen most of them between $4.00-- $8.00.
