Default A great shave with clay in it?!? Rhassoul and Kaolin clays- anyone know about these?

    Hi Guys:

I had a great shave this morning with a artisanal small volume run shave cream. When I bought the cream, the person who mixed the cream described the ingredients, I recognized all the others, but not these clays. He said that Rhassoul and Kaolin clays, in addition to being good for cleaning pores (I guess women use it in facial masks), also keep the beard hair from sticking to your skin/lift the hair up to it can be sheared by your razor. I can't find any info on the 'net so I thought I would ask the real experts. Any insight here? Thanks

A great SOTD, so perhaps the above played a part. Any info/thoughts? Thank you.

Rhassoul= is a natural mineral clay mined in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco since the eighth century, and has been used by Moroccan women for centuries to care for their skin and hair.

Kaolin Clay: This clay is most commonly used in mineral makeup recipes but can also be used in a wide variety of bath and body products. This natural clay is perfect for sensitive skin and is most often used as a base in mineral makeup for a matte finish and to provide a nice slip when applying your homemade eye shadows and foundations.
