Default Palmolive stick last of four

Used the Palmolive shave stick this morning and got similar results to the three other brands I tried. Another honest soap that just does the job and won't hurt your wallet. Personally I love the smell of Palmolive because it smells like... well, Palmolive. None of the four I tried were dogs and if I were in the UK the Palmolive would be a no brainer for me. Tried hard to find some rational justification to try an expensive soap but just did not get it with these four.

It is a good soap. IME I do find it a bit more drying than others, but very good performance.

No doubt about that but you get more than 50p worth of quality too. You don't always get what you pay for and in the case of UK members they have the opportunity to get more than what they pay for. For us poor folks on this side of the pond it is as good as any similar priced product over here. Fact remains that if you can't get the job done with it, it is not likely the soap is fault.

I suppose we are lucky. And that doesn't mean you guys can't get some though. I'm sure there are companies and people willing to send a couple that side of the Pond. They may not be readily available, but still, you can get them in bulk and still enjoy/use them at your pleasure.

I've got one or two stored in my "shaving armageddon" stockpile downstairs somewhere - I might have to drag one out when my MdC finally runs out and give it a try.
