Tabac is a good choice. Martin de Candre is the Mercedes-Benz of shaving soaps (queue a bunch of clever people now that will tell me Ferrari's and Aston's are better than Mercs...). Any serious shaver needs to have both of these in their den

Czech and Speake's Oxford&Cambridge is one of those soaps that we will all miss should it ever be reformulated. Like Vintage Penhaligon's. The scent is one of, perhaps THE, classiest of all the current production shaving soaps and the performance is as good as anything made. I'm a crude man, but when shaving with O&C, I feel like a gentleman.

Damn it! It's posts like these that my wallet objects to!!

+1 on O&C. It's indeed a superb soap - well worth getting it in the den as well!

    medicevans:
Martin de Candre is a must. Czech and Speake is not far behind. For a bonus, also try Joris.

Here's a few more, DR Harris and Pre De Provence.

Ogallala Bay Rum and Sandalwood is a staple in my shave mug on DE days.

Tabac; the one I keep coming back to.

    +1 on Tabac.

I like the LaToja and D. R. Harris (Arlington) shave sticks as well.
