Default Honeybee Spa Soaps and Hard Water

I have the Honeybee Spa Sandalwood shaving soap and , unfortunately, hard water from the tap. Does anyone else have a hard time getting lather in this situation.
If you think you might be in my shoes and can give a little help, I 'd appreciate it.

    thanks,

    Justin

    Justin,

Try buying a gallon of distilled water for use with your brush and soap. It's cheap and may be an easy fix.

Thanks, RT, I was thinking about doing that and now know it's a good idea.

I have a similar problem due to hard water we have, would bottled water work as good as distilled or is distilled better?

Through distillation, I believe most minerals are removed which softens the water. I don't think this can be said of all bottled water. If you do an internet query, I think you'll learn that the main cause of water hardness is calcium and magnesium --so if your bottled water has this --it won't be soft. Later,
