Negozio Leggero Crema da Barba all'Olio di Nocciola e Lavanda
(Negozio Leggero Hazelnut Oil and Lavender Shaving Cream)

    Producer: Negozio Leggero, Turin, Italy

    Type: Shaving Cream.

INCI (List of Ingredients): Stearic Acid, Aqua, Cocus Nucifera, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, Carylus Avellana Nut Oil, Sodium Carbonate, Linalool, Alpha-Terpineol, Acetate Terpineol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Geranyl Acetate

Excellent ingredients, provided the stearic acid is of vegetable origin, just a generic and non very clear "parfum" (maybe is it lavender essential oil? Or synthetic lavender parfum? Or something else?), Score: 9

According to my personal INCI shaving cream/soap database, this cream seems to be absolutely correspondent to "Tcheong Fung Sing Crema Purissima per Barba con Olio di Nocciola e Cuore di Lavanda Fougere". Tcheong Fung Sing - an Italian soap maker in Turin, Italy - is known to make shaving creams and soaps for other brands, so this too can be the case.

Pakage: The cream can be bought in "Negozio Leggero" chain shops both in a handy tin as well as loose cream, which is meant to be a refill for the tin. The tin is well made and functional, maybe too small for large brushes, Score: 8

    Quantity: 100g (3.5oz)

Smell: Lavender, mild scent, not too strong or excessive, almost subtle, Score: 8

Lather: This cream mounts easily and easily loads the brush. Working on a bowl with the right quantity of water, it makes a creamy and stable lather, with some large bubbles however acceptable, Score: 9

Shaving: The sensation on the skin is very good, quite fatty and oily, it has a smooth and round touch. The razor easily slides and the sensation of shaving is pleasurable and enjoyable. I used this soap for my usual three passes and I noticed it tends to dry up a little at the end of each pass, Score: 8

Conclusion: An overall good shaving cream although I noticed few spots of irritation on my skin. The sensation at end of shaving is very good, the skin feels smooth and well moisturized. The fact it tends to dries up at the end of the pass is a little negative for this cream which however seems to be good, Score: 8
