    Default Question to US pilots

    Hello
Since 1 of may, in Europe, all air band transceivers used must have a frequencies spacing of 8,33 kHz instead of 25 kHz.
So, use of all 25 kHz transceivers, aboard or handheld, is now prohibited. And a lot of pilots have to buy a new handheld and can't resell the old one in Europe.
I was told that that hardware is still in use in the States without restriction. Is that correct ?

No it's the same here, no changes. Still 25. There is talk about it in the future but nothing official yet.

    Thanks for the information.
I will try with some friends to make a collective sale on eBay for our material.
