Dovo Strop Paste set
Fendrihan has the dovo set of red and black.
My question is this: how does the black dovo paste compare to crox in terms of smoothing an edge after a naniwa 12k?

Thanked: 13246The Dovo pastes are a softer type of cutter.. They work exceptional with Sheffield steel IMHO although the Black is more in the 1 micron rating it does not cut that way and leaves a very comfortable edge on some steels..

What would you say it would do to a Dovo BQ after a nani 12k?

Thanked: 13246I would say if you have the CrOx then the Dovo Black is a waste of money
If I had a large collection of heavy Sheffield steel then I would say get the Red and the Black and leather to put it on

I don't have crox. The only crox that Fendrihan has is the expensive thiers issard paste for $30. The dovo paste set is around $11. Just wondering if it's worth it or not. Classic Edge has puma crox for $9 but it's out of stock currently. I'd just get the crox from SRD but shipping is about $30!
