    Bevels can be uneven looking, as in wide on one side and thin on the other, and still be fine...or did you mean that the bevel isn't there in some places?

    More like the bevel doesen't touch the strop the same on both sides. Like it's not straight. If that makes any sense?

    Is it wavy on the side/s that it doesn't run evenly or just a slightly narrower bevel on one side than the other?

    Other questions: Is the board perfectly flat? and is the leather of an even thickness? These could all be part of the issue.

    Yes, only on one side of the razor there is a problem.
