Yeah someone needs to do a breakdown of that honing and writeup a detailed explanation. I would definitely give it a read. It also looks to me like he's got a round tang kamisouri type razor with a hollow grind of some sort. Probably custom made... Im too broke for a custom, damn economy (and kids take a Lotta money too).
