I recently found 2000grit wet/dry sandpaper. My rough hone is about 900g and my whetstone 2sided 3000/10000. I was thinking about putting the paper on the back of my leather strop as a sharpening side. Is this safe or should I use a paddle strop with the paper. Or is paper all together a bad idea?
