Cool What I do to put no pressure on razor while stropping.

I hope this will help someone. I found while I was stropping I was putting more pressure on my back stroke. So what I did to Correct this problem was to raise my strop. I raised the top of the strop about 12" above my waist. The bottom of the strop is held waist high. I found that putting my index finger on the back of the tang, and my pinky finger under the end of the bottom scale to support the razor, and letting gravity do the rest of the work. I have no more pressure problems. I'm a new comer to this ART, but I hope will help some one !!!

If you keep your elbows up that will reduce the tendency to exert pressure too. Also good for honing.
