I sure won't deny the grabbiness - and it gave me heartburn when I started also. A bit of horse hide cured the grabbies. Then I went back to the latigo for about a year & found I was more comfortable with it. 'Used it as the daily driver for about a year & got great results. The main hassle I had was w/ the smaller (4/8) blades that could grab, flip over and slice before you realized what was happening.

Don't be surprised if you feel differently about the heavy draw in the future. For now, enjoy that SRD. Its a heckuva lot of strop for the price. 'Love mine.

I will stick with it - I actually also ordered a replacement Red Latigo strip ! The results are good, it's just got a lot of draw ! I ordered an extra strip because I'm sure I'm going to mark this one up, not yet ( knock on my head ) but I know it's coming ! ;-)

I have an SRD Premium I and love it, I also have a red latigo which was my first strop and has served me well for about four years until I got my Premium I. I also have a SRD Roo strop which is now my normal daily strop but still love my other two

I sold my red latigo to a Sgt. in Afghanistan. Mine was anything but grabby. Didn't care for it. I am an English Bridle fan and also like horse butt which is not grabby. Many choices makes it fun.......

I recently got the SRD premium and I'm very happy with it. I currently don't prefer a heavy draw. The premium is a nice, easy going strop that my razors seem to like. If I were to do it again...I'd do it again.
