What glue do you use on your paddles? Mine is fine, I'm just curious. I've had decent results with Barge Cement, but I'd like to know if there's something better.

I'm not sure of all of the details, but try using a bottle of hot water and running it over the strop to level it out. First, rub it down with the palm of your hand. This will add a bit of "oil" to the strop. Then run the bottle of water over it.
