Thread: Handle Throwing Me Off

So I got my practice razor today just to learn technique my Dovo Astrale is in the mail. I have the roll on spine down pat but then the handle starts to bend on me and strarts throwing me off. Im prob going to need to hook up with someone and have them watch me. Ive watched the videos I start slow but then the handle starts to move from straight to sideways snd throws me off. Anyone else had this problem when learning?

Ok Im getting a little better trying to just use fingers thumb and forefinger to do the turning while just having handle kind of just rest in my other fingers

Is the blade loose in the scales? You really do not want the handle to be held in your fingers.

Its a new dollar practice only razor. no its tight im going to try not to have the handle in my hand as you mentioned.

Just let the handle lay upon your fingers,do not grip it,only fingers you should use are the thumb and forefinger

Im getting there my Dovo Astrale will be here in a few days. Just need to keep practising. I used a straight razor to shave before for months it was disposable blades tho. I need to learn the stropping the shaving with one im not nervous about
