Thanked: 0how much pressure when stoping
when stroping how much pressure should you apply, just the weight of the razor or do you press down slightly?

Thanked: 1Just the weight of the blade on the strop. Of critical importance is to make sure the blade is FLAT on the strop at all times.

I do just enough to create a draw on my TM latigo, which is very little above the weight of the blade, on average. It gets gradually reduced over the 30-40 strokes.

I agree with the "only enough to produce drag" answer as I find the pressure needed rises slightly as the razor dulls. I also lessen pressure at the end.
