Thread: Can one paste a haning strop?

I think if you are going to use a pasted hanging strop the way to do it is to place it on a flat hard surface but of course then its not a hanging strop anymore.

I agree with the other guys that you can, but need to exercise some care when doing so. Personally I paste the embossed side of my hanging strop and use it to touch up my blades - generally only requires a single return trip (sometimes two). I use it in hanging mode, and am always careful to remove any paste residue from the razor before flipping the strop over and stropping on the unpasted side.
